This report was written by Kent, Surrey and Sussex AHSN commissioned by Howz partner Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust. Addressing the strain on social and private care providers, the report finds that remote monitoring relieves the pressure on the NHS by reducing ambulance callouts and emergency admissions, along with offering savings to local authorities through care home placements. With the report's findings, we aim to offer improved quality of life and physical and mental health benefits by allowing patients to remain in their own homes for longer.
